Where Are You Today? Where Am I Today? Life is Difficult, What Now?
Today, I find myself swirling in what seems like a whirlwind of issues. Work, STRIVING toward being debt free, a child going to college, how to serve my lovely bride, figuring out what it means to be a follower of the MOST HIGHT GOD, attempting to encourage brothers and sisters to endure through their woes and troubles, and how to raise an adopted child who seems to think that following the rules is beneath her. All of these and more are piling upon me, and the ONLY way I see out to the other side is PRAYER!!! It is actually the BEST thing I can do. When things like these come at us, a deeeeeeep breath, a heavy sigh, reading Adonai's Word, and LOTS of communication with YHVH (God) has become even more paramount than ever before! The writer of the book of Proverbs tells us that having, “Wisdom is the principle (most important) thing” to have in your possession. I want it! I have employed it on several occasions. It seems that I could use Her more right now. Yes! I said, "Her!" The Bible calls her "her," and likewise so will I. When I apply Wisdom through prayer, I have find that dealing with pain, confusion, my inability to know what to do gets clearer and somewhat easier. Frankly, I am hurting in all shades of blue today. My Father in Heaven wants me to trust (have faith) in Him and His ability to love me in ways that will not only floor me, but sustain me during these times. It is during these times (of intense pain and tumult) that I draw closer to Him and His Son, Yeshua (Jesus). In Scripture, these times are called trials. In a song by a Christian band named "MercyMe" they call them "rain." Using Wisdom and prayer coupled with reading Elohim's (Triune God) Word is what has kept me focused and sane recently and throughout the years. When I paused earlier, I was underneath a tidal wave of emotions. I was driven to go check on my youngest daughter (adopted). We had a pretty nice conversation. I told her I was blogging about my pain and problems. She smiled and nodded. I reminded her that we all have problems, and that she is not one of mine, but I need the Lord God (Adonai) to show me how to deal with them all, to include her. So, where am I today? Am sharing and remembering? Yes. Who do you know who has had difficult times, but did not take them to the One who FULLY UNDERSTANDS? Instead, they tried to solve them in their own way(s). Everything turned out horribly. What about you? Where are you? Have you tried the Father of ALL creation? Have you asked questions of Him, and AFTER you received direction, you ACTUALLY OBEYED His instruction? He is pretty wise you know. Wisdom is of Him. She is STILL the "principle thing!" In Hashem's (Creator God) Holy Word, there are multiple accounts of people who had problems and eventually went to their Creator for help. Here are a few of them: Moshe (Moses); Yeshua (Jesus), Paul, John, Job, Mortecai & Ruth, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Joseph. What did the Lord do for them? He delivered them all. KNOW THIS. There is NOONE too lost for Him to save, and NOONE to hurt for Him to love. Wherever you are, you are not too high, or too low that He can't touch, find, love or save you. How do I know this? I AM LIVING PROOF!
