Okay, now picture that everyone is talking but the quarterback. When there is silence, and the delay of game flag has been thrown. After marching off the penalty yards, the QB finally speaks and he calls a play that is not in the playbook. What do you think is going to happen next in that huddle? I would imagine a lot of weird looks are going around, and the not-so-cool words are being tossed about like those yellow flags. "Confusion" has set in! Does what you say ever confuse anyone? When the world sees a man not leading, it somewhat expects it. There are people who looks at a man who is not "taking charge" as being a wimp. How do you think God's Church views that same man who loses cool points by not leading--causing mass confusion? Your wife, kids, church and society needs to see a man serving God! All of us as men should be pressing onward to grow higher, getting swifter and stronger. Do you have a desire to be more of the man God wants you to be? Did you know what a man believes "shapes what he is and how he lives?" We all know that (because of pressure) water takes the path of least resistance. "Don't be a loafer." "Don't you take the path that has the least resistance." Ask yourself this question... What would happend if...? "Your life is a sum total of how you choose to live this day!" "One day it will be the LAST TIME you get to live like you do;" and make the sorry choices you have been making. When was the last time you told another man about Jesus? "If you are a Christian, where is Jesus in your life?" "What consumes your life?" "What dominates your life?" Have you ever thought of the realism that "you are being watched and somebody is following you?" "How many people do you think are watching you daily." "What people see in us will have an affect on THEIR lives." "Do you have things that people need from you for them to live a valuable life?" "THE ONLY THING GOD CAN USE TO MAKE A MAN IS A BOY!" Where are you today? What boy is looking to you and taking mental notes on how to become a man?" "How do you treat your wife, girlfriend or other women?" Do you abuse them with your words or your fists? Do you secretly undress them with your eyes? Do you find yourself wrapped up in an erotic state of mind and become aroused? What is her name? Is she your wife? Is she your friend's wife? Is she the pastor's wife? Is she a girl in the youth group? Is she your daughter's friend? Is she some picture you got from "You Tube or a Chat Room?" Are you being caught stealing from another man's wife by looking up her skirt/dress or down her blouse? Do you linger and take 2-3 more looks at someone that passed you by? Hey! I have been there! Understood! It is a perpetual struggle for most men. Be real about it. Get accountable in the struggle. Read "every man's battle." Never forget, and always remember this... Some BOY is watching you to find out what a MAN is "supposed" to look like. What are you showing him? "Are you committed to loving Jesus?" "What are you passionate about?" Where will your family find you?
